I recently bought the christmas themed cosmetic pack because Tis the season. Turns out if you equip the snowmans carrot nose its permanent, you can not take it off or replace it, rather it will put other cosmetics on top of it.
This was found on the Ps5 version, unsure if it's the same on other platforms.
