The leaderboards rn are extremely steady. You have to really grind a lot or get a group going to have a chance at getting top 10 (and that's if the person at top 10 isn't playing at the moment).
To gather more interest around the leaderboards and give people something to grind for (other than levels) I suggest adding daily leaderboards.

Daily leaderboards could have the same categories as the main ones (I'll suggest more categories later) and would reset daily.

This would give you something easily reachable to grind for and you won't need to get a group going to boost your stats as just playing for a couple hours should be enough to keep you in top 10.

There could also be some cosmetic rewards for reaching top 10 before the daily reset (only obtainable once for each category so you guys don't have to keep making them).

Some additional categories that could be added that wouldn't encourage trolling:
Top total points gained
Top paper airplanes thrown
Top logs found
Top logs sabotaged
