Rather than making the log entirely inaccessible, sabotaging a log would adjust it by allowing the personoid to remove a name.

Players would be aware that a log was sabotaged and that the information was compromised.

Ideally, this could be a name chosen at will, allowing for mind games involving whether the personoid would've removed themselves to avoid suspicion, or left themselves on the list to 'clear' themselves.
